KAISER SBS designed and delivered for a client in the western part of Germany the shown unit for the production of flakes.

In the commercial production, the molten product is solidified inside the unit under extreme conditions, as they are:

- Feeding temperature onto the cooling belt of approximately 450° C
- The product could be not be in touch neither with water or humidity nor with oxygen, as the product will be inflamed immediately
- The product is toxic.
- Capacity of the cooling belt unit should be 2.500 kg/h on a limited space of the solidification unit of not more than 6,0 m length
- The unit shall be operated with an underpressure of 10 mbar.
