At the occasion of the exhibition 13th “Techtextil” from the 16th to the 18th June were at the Frankfurt fairground the Techtextil-and Avantex-innovation prices 2009 have been awarded. With these prices the Techtextil jury (www.techtextil.com)  awarded extraordinary performances and new achievements in the field of new materials and technologies. Six prize-winners were honoured on the 15th June in the congress centre near the fair solemnly. The international jury decided this year on four Techtextil awards - to the 10th time since the existence of the fair  - and two Avantex-Awards - for the 5th time.

The Techtextil-Award " new products " was awarded for the " high performance cooling belt made from composite material for melt solidification " which is marketed by us under the name Q.max^®.

In co-operation with Heimbach Specialities (www.heimbach.com) from Belgium we have developed this completely new cooling belt material which consists of a textile copper Aramid-copper supporting fabric and is coated with a high temperature resistance special silicone.

With different products the new material from the composite material is superior in comparison to a conventional steel belt with regard to heat transfer and release characteristics.
